2012 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society will hold its 2012 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nev. from Feb. 20-24, 2012 at the Sands Expo Convention Center.

Ranked as one of the largest health information technology conferences in the United States, the Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition provides attendees with educational offerings and an interactive exhibit floor to prepare them for current industry challenges. The more than 300 education sessions cover topics that include economic stimulus, globalization, and regulatory compliance. In addition, sessions and exhibits focus on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act including meaningful use, quality, certification, interoperability plus effective techniques for negotiating health IT contracts.

Each year, the conference attracts physicians, nurses, pharmacists, software developers and other health IT professionals from around the globe who are interested in these topics and making the transition from paper to digital medical records.
